Oct. 31st. This day belongs to God! not the devil.

Psa 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Halloween is a day of the foolishness of the devil, which I do not participate in any manner. I don’t open my door to the wicked and foolish costumes, that depict the stupidity of the teaching of this pure foolishness, I don’t give candy to kids or tell them how cute they are in their garb.

They pass so many laws that also foolish, I would like to see one passed banning this day of disturbance. This is a day that people treat as a day of amusement, when they come around and deface your property, destroy your yard decorations, set things on fire, and cause lots of damage and destruction and money to repair, and replace these items that have been tampered with.

As the scripture hath said, “ This is the day that the Lord Hath made” I am thankful that I can rejoice in this day because this is a day like every other day that My God has made. I refuse to set this day aside to the devil, I will give him NO space, as the word says - Eph 4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

So, turn your porch lights off, get together with your family, perhaps read a good book, maybe even a few chapters from the Bible, and enjoy God's Day.

Touching the HEM of the garment.

We live in a very pressing time and we have all of these things ( which are many ) coming at us from every angle. If we are not careful we will become captivated by these (THINGS) and then they begin to manipulate us in a direction that we never intended on going.

My friend, may I say to you today, STOP!!!! don't allow the enemy to do you this way. We can not allow the adversary of our souls to do these things to us.

Even the woman with the issue of blood in the bible, when she was on her way down, she knew she had to touch him, even if it was only the HEM of his garment, think with me for a moment, where is the hem? Right! it's on the bottom! She touched the very hem on her way down and was made WHOLE.

We may feel as though we are at the end of our rope, or at the bottom, or even on our way down. Good News!!! even at the bottom there was hope and this woman with this blood issue proved that to us in the WORD of God.

Let's be encouraged and do what ever it takes to touch JESUS, even if it's the hem of his garment, because there is always hope for you and for me in Jesus. Let's touch the HEM!

The Power of PRAYER! Do you pray for yourself?

We have all at one time or another said " Hey! would you pray fro me? " and this is exactly what we should do, as the bible teaches us to pray one for another, but listen to me my friend! You must learn to pray for yourself. The bible even talks about where David encouraged himself in the Lord. Prayer is a powerful weapon against the enemy of our soul, we need to use it and not just expect others to do our praying for us!

Prayer is where we glean our strength, when we have that sweet communication with the Almighty God. Prayer should never be a task or a drudgery, even though sometimes it's hard to pray, the enemy don't want us to have the victory, but this should be our time when we bring our needs and also our praise before the Throne of God. What a privilege!!! Remember the song, ...take it to the Lord in Prayer. Oh! what peace we often forfeit, Oh, what needless pains we bare, all because we did not carry, everything to God in Prayer.

What a beautiful blessings this is for us to have this time of fellowship with God. Please for one for another, in fact, PRAY FOR ME!! But know that I will be praying for me and for you! Have a beautiful season in prayer the next time you pray and remember this word of instruction, we must pray for ourselves as well as one another.

To all of the Pastors that are out there, from the heart of the Evangelist and from the word of God, may I remind you, the word of God teaches us in the following verses that we NEED the evangelists for the PERFECTING of the saints - don't deprive your church this wonderful ministry as God gave it for a reason. As a Pastor, you can not fill all of the offices to your church body, it's a team effort, use the five fold ministry for your church and watch how God blesses your congregation, you'll be amazed!!

Eph 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Someone asked me, what does that mean? My reply was simply this, it means that we believe the same way the Apostles believed on the day of Pentecost.

We are living in what I believe to be one of the greatest hours that has ever been, simply because we are living in the very time of the soon appearing of the Almighty God when he splits those eastern skies to gather his people.

2Ti 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

You see folks, Jesus is not coming after everyone, but for those that have followed his instruction ( law) according to his word which he left for us. We must be obedient to his word and we must be looking for him
