It's a Beautiful Morning" - Carroll Roberson - YouTube

Good Morning!

By now, many folks are feeling the sting of Cabin fever.
We been in for a few weeks now and when we go to the store to get the
necessities they are usually gone and that can be frustrating.

Remember, as we like to say so many times, " THIS TOO SHALL PASS! "

I am so thankful for the many Blessings that God has placed on our lives, this happens on a daily basis, if you'll spend time counting them, you'll see they are many.

Remember the old song, Count your many blessings,
name them one by one, count your many blessings and see what God has done.

We are all blessed in so many ways and sometimes,
we just don't take the time to realize them and to be thankful for them.

My prayer for you and your family today, is that you will
allow God to speak into your life and that you slow down long enough,
to hear what he is trying to say and to realize what he may be trying to do in your life.

The fact is, God is always doing something, whether we realize it or not, he's always moving,
the question may be, are we going to be a part of what he is doing?

He'll never force himself on you, you just need to receive what he is doing.

As sure as I am typing this, God is moving in peoples lives!

I pray you have a blessed week
and that you begin to see
that God has something in store for you TODAY!

Praying with you in mind!

Cabin fever - Wikipedia

Are you feeling the cabin fever yet?

Well! if you want to know the real truth, there is probably a blessing
in the midst of all this that many are really missing out on!

Remember this! God is always doing something,
I can assure you, he's not having cabin fever!

What you need to be doing as a Christian
is looking to see what God is moving in and
get into the midst of what he is doing.

In times like these, God is doing so many wonderful things.
What will your testimony be?

Remember this!
No TEST, No TESTIMONY!

Praying with you in mind!

TDH: 5,114 COVID-19 cases, 101 deaths in Tennessee | WKRN News 2

Many never dreamed that we would see a day like this.
The Entire World coming to a crawl, unlike the former hustle and bustle .
Businesses, Schools, Churches, Restaurants all coming to a major change in the way
we have all lived for so many years.
For those who know the TRUTH about Christian living, we are not overwhelmed with
what the world is coming to. I have said for many years, it's not what the world is coming to,
But look what has come to the World.
His Name is Jesus!
He left all the Splendor of Heaven and came to this world in order to give us a way out
of here, regardless of what happens to us in this life.
I so appreciate that ole song that says,

I'M GLAD I KNOW WHO JESUS IS
I'M GLAD I KNOW WHO JESUS IS
HE'S MORE THAN JUST A STORY
HE IS THE KING OF GLORY
I'M GLAD I KNOW WHO JESUS IS!

God is totally in control and has always been.
Be of good cheer, trust in the Lord!

Isaiah 26:3 King James Version (KJV)3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Praying with you in mind.

I came across a message below this morning and
I have provided the link and I wanted to share it with you.
I don't recall ever hearing this gentleman before, but I sure enjoyed what he had to say.

I trust it will be a blessing to you!

What is God to you?
Some people try to use him like a rabbits foot, or they call on
him only when they are in trouble.
I'm thankful I live for him DAILY, he's my ALL in ALL!!

Praying with you in mind.

Today is "that" day!

Image result for crisp cold morning

Make today "that day" that you start afresh!
We woke up this morning and another page is turned.
Another opportunity to be encouraged by the freshness of a Brand New Start.
Do something different! go somewhere you haven't been in a long time,
visit someone you haven't seen in a while, call somebody and encourage them.
If I meet you today, my commitment is to leave you better than I find you!!
May God bless your day, ....I think he already has!

Praying with you in mind!

Food for Thought!

****  NON Spiritual Subject!  ****

Many of you have heard me talk about my New 36 inch Blackstone Griddle,
which I really enjoy! Well recently, a friend of mine built this grill for me and I really enjoy cooking on it, the food has been fabulous! My wife is always asking, SO! when are you cooking again? this statement is really funny to both of us because of this reason. Until the Blackstone Griddle, I NEVER did any cooking, I must say, I'm really enjoying it! She is too by the way!  I know this is not a spiritual subject, but if we don't eat, my spirit will leave my body and I won't be putting anything on the site, I'm sure you understand!  :-)

Oh! What a Day!

This morning, as I stepped out into my backyard with my coffee to take in the wonderful beauty of God's creation, it was so evident of his marvelous works.

As I stood on my patio gazing up into the trees and the sky, the leaves were falling, I could actually hear the sounds of the morning as the leaves would snap from the trees and fall to the ground.

It was so cool and crisp and the sound was so faint, but yet amazing at the same time.

How great is our God!  I stood in awe as I listened to the quietness of his workings.
Hard to really explain, you just have to experience it for yourself.

We take so much for granted in our daily lives, remember the old saying, " stop and smell the roses along the way".

I hope this is a fabulous day for you and that God shows himself to you in a mighty way!

God Bless You !  is my prayer for you.

The Patriarch of the McGee Family, My Dad!

Frank Mc Gee

Today my Dad will be laid to rest along the side of my Mother, in the Suburb of Chicago. As I thought about my Dad on the 5th. of Dec. though he was dead, he was spending his last night in Tennessee. Born and raised in Moscow Tennessee, Fayette County, in  Aug of 1933.

What a heritage & legacy that I have through my Dad. One that I am proud of, one that I'll cherish and respect. My Dad was a very intelligent man, though he only had a 3rd. grade education. I was many times amazed at his knowledge, the things that he knew and the things that he could do.

I'm thankful for all of the good times we shared together, all of the conversations, the laughs and the list could go on and on. There were lots of things he taught me, I find myself even to this day asking the question, what would my Dad do?  Sometimes, when I'm out in my shop working on a project, I'll come across a tool that my Dad gave me years ago and ponder the time when he gave it to me, I guess that will be the case even more, in the days and years ahead.

One other thing, I'll share here in my tribute to my Dad, I taught him how to drive a "BIG RIG", yes a Tractor Trailer, boy did we have fun! We even bought some trucks and went into the Trucking Business up there in Chicago.

Memories? Oh yes! I have a bunch, and they will linger in my heart for many years to come and they will be cherished by me and my family.

Speaking of family, my precious Son, Josh and I were talking just the other day and he said Daddy, you know Grandpa has been the Patriarch of our family all these years and now he has past the mantle on to you in his death, what a sobering thought as that thought struck me, me! a Patriarch?

Yes! a Patriarch!! That's what my Dad was to our family and for that to be past on to me, from him, what a honor! These will be big shoes to fill, but I'll do my very best!

My prayer is that my Dad will rest in peace, until the time, God would allow us to meet again.

I love you and I'll really miss you Dad!!

Frank ~
