Could this possibly be another test?

1Pe 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

How are you doing on the test that you are faced with right now?

Can you feel the heat? is it getting a little uncomfortable for you during this time of testing? Well my friend, think it not strange, if we stay the course God will use it to prove us for his GLORY and we will come forth shinning.

Can you imagine just how God is using the things that you and I are going through right now to bring us to a NEW place of victory. It may not be pleasant, be it will be worth it in the end.

I really believe that with all my heart, no! I don't like it when I have to take the test, but I do know that whatever I have to go through God will shine through me if I will, or if you will, keep him FIRST, this is one of the keys by the way, don't forget why you are where you are.

In everything that I am going through, I say TO GOD BE THE GLORY!! Whatever it may be, because it's my desire in my life to bring God Honor and Glory.

We may not see it now, but if we stay the course we will shine as pure gold.

Prayer

Psa 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

We live in a day of so many types of communication, email, voicemail, tweeting, twittering, texting and the list I'm sure could go on and on.

I am fully persuaded that while all of these have there benefit, there is NO communication like PRAYER!

Have people lost their desire to pray and to seek the face of God with earnest and heart filled communication (prayer)?

I have found that people are so busy or so they say, that just don't have time, for me this is the most sweetest type of fellowship that one could ever have and that is that time of prayer and communication with the almighty God.

One verse talks about seeking him with a whole heart, to me my friend this would indicate an inward desire to commune with him.

Psa 119:2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.

Phi 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

My question to you today, how well are you communicating with the one who has ALL answers for every situation?

Pray my friend PRAY!

Math Quiz.

Simple math 2+2=4 5+5=10 4x5=20 that's just plain and simple isn't it? easy to understand and we don't have a problem with that all, we've learned that this is just the way it is!

Let's look at this same concept in another light, in other words, let's put more LIGHT on the matter!! ( Oh! I hope you get what I just said, because there is a spiritual connection to this ) just like the simplicity of the illustration above God has a simple formula for his math.

Just like the verse, Deu 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: There is only ONE God, while there may be many gods there is only ONE God; and I am glad that I know him by his Name and that Name is Jesus!

Back to God's math:
Your Problem + Faith = God's Answer
Your Trouble + Trust = God's Trouble Solved
Your Sickness + Shed Blood of Jesus = Healing
Your Sin + Repentance & Baptism = God's Salvation (Acts 2:38)

You see, we must always put God into the equation and NEVER leave him out and he will take care of our every need. I am a living example of this, I have been taking God's math class for some time now and really starting to get good grades! ;- )

I thought of all of this this morning in prayer and wanted to share it with you for your strength today.

What time do you have?

2Ti 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2Ti 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2Ti 3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2Ti 3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Does this sound like anything we see in our world today? Think about it! perhaps we are closer to the return of the Lord than some think. Hmmm!

Whatever you're going through, trust him, it get's better!

Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

We enjoy hearing someone tell us that they have been thinking about us, that they have had us on their heart.

Look at the verse above, Isn't it amazing that God is thinking about us? Notice that he says this in a personal application "that I think toward YOU!"

Now look at what he's thinking about, thoughts of PEACE! I never really broke this down before to look at it like this, but this is powerful!

Then he even says that he knows what the end will be, because it's EXPECTED! Is that NOT what it says?

Let's bask in his peace today and rejoice in his greatness because he is on our side and has our BEST interest at HIS heart! He knows how the story ends! and it will be good!

Time to dream again.

Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

We all know by the signs of the times that we are living in the last days before the return of our Lord to get his church.

There are so many things that we need to see accomplished before this event takes place.

Some have loved ones that are NOT where they need to be according to the word of God, their lives are far from where God wants them to be. If I may be so BOLD we just simply don't have time to play around on the edge.

Do you have a vision for your family & your friends? Do have dreams of seeing to them saved & set free from the bondage of sin? Today is that day to see that vision, to dream that dream and to see God working in your life and the lives of those you love.

We are trusting God with so many of you and we are looking forward to great and wonderful things in these last days, we must trust him!

Jesus knows me this I love!

We all remember the wonderful childhood song we learned,
Jesus love me this I know, for the bible tells me so.
How many times have we heard someone brag that they knew this person or that person,
you know, someone famous or perhaphs a celebrity of some sort.
Does it really matter in the whole scheme of things when it comes right down to it,
What really should matter to us as christians should be does Jesus know us?
I am glad I have a relationship with JESUS and that he knows me, and me having this
knowledge brings such joy to my heart and because of this I can say,
Jesus knows me, this I love!

Blessing's lots of blessings!

As I've heard in the song, I get joy when I think about what he's done for me, It would be a chore for anyone of us to list all of the ways that God has blessed us over the years.

I always like using the songs that sort of tell the story, how about this one! Count your many blessings name them one by one ...

If we will just take the time to think about it, we would be amazed at where we would be had it not been for the mercies of our Great God.

I am blessed and I know that I am! by the way! ... that's another song.

My song in the night.

Psa 77:6 I call to remembrance my song in the night:

In the midst of darkness or our dark times, we all need a song in the night. This would be that special time of praise and worship unto the Lord.

Can you imagine how it confuses the enemy, when even in the middle of our difficulties we are singing unto the Lord?

Refuse to be defeated my friend, just keep singing unto our Great and Wonderful God, he will bring us out!

Can we get the job done on our own?

The word of God teaches us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, but we must ask him for the strength to do many of those great things that we want to see accomplished.

Sometimes, we just get too caught up within ourselves and we think that we can do anything, the truth is, we can do all things through him, and nothing more.

The word teaches us that it’s in him that live and move and have our being, he is before us and all things.

Even those that don’t serve the Lord are able to do things through him; they just don’t give God the credit.

I’m glad I know where and how my strength comes and who it comes from.

What a blessing to be able to look back and see where God brought us from, one major thing I have come to realize, on my own, I am a failure! How about you?

It's a matter of trust!

Psa 73:1 Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.

Psa 73:2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.

Psa 73:3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

Psa 73:4 For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.

Psa 73:5 They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.

Psa 73:6 Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.

Psa 73:7 Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.

Psa 73:8 They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.

Psa 73:9 They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.

Psa 73:10 Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.

Psa 73:11 And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?

Psa 73:12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.

Psa 73:13 Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.

Psa 73:14 For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.

Psa 73:15 If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.

Psa 73:16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;

Psa 73:17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.

We must realize that God has a different plan and he does not always let us in on everything that he is doing behind the scene so to speak, it really a matter of TRUST! Are we really willing to trust him and know that he will take care of us IF we are FAITHFUL!

Praying with you in mind,

Think on these things.

Phi 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

What are your thoughts on today? It’s easy to get side tracked with everything that is going on around us but these verses above channels our thinking into a more positive direction.

I’ve been around folks that are always negative in just about everything that they do. If one allows themselves to continue in that frame of mind they will ultimately just give up and they will live a life of defeat, many times trying to take others down also along the way.

We must cause ourselves to think on things that will help us to see the good in whatever we might be going through at that time.

Let’s help one another to be victorious even in the midst of bad things, we can make it and we will be the better for it.

Praying with you in mind,

Give and it shall be given!

What will you give away today that has more value than one may realize?

I have taught for many years and have lived by a very major and important principle; we only get to keep what we give away.

Are you willing to give of yourself today to someone that could use some encouragement?

Would you be willing to do your very best to make that person feel so special that it changes the entire course of their day or maybe even their week or perhaps their life?

You know throughout the word of God we learn that it is more blessed to give than it is to receive, and if you will think about it, you’ll find that when we give to others, it always comes back to us in ways that we didn't even expect.

Let’s be a light to someone today and not only be kind but let’s show them Jesus!

Choosing to be different, by the way! It is a choice.

Rom 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

God is telling us NOT to be like everyone else, he said to be not conformed to this world.

Let your mind be renewed daily by the good things of God.

Step away from the “NORM”, dare to be different; don’t try to fit in with this world because if you are wanting to be a Christian then you MUST be different.

When we dare to be different people are drawn to us, people are hungry, hurting, disillusioned, without direction, we need to ask ourselves the question, do we have what others are looking for?

We can be what God would have us to be without giving up the Joy that one longs for.

There is VICTORY in serving Jesus, live for him with everything in you, trust me, you’ll be glad you did.

Praying with you in mind.

A Living Sacrifice

Rom 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

All God is looking for in a people, are those that will present themselves in a godly manner to a world that needs us as an example. He even said that this was reasonable, meaning; “NOTHING EXTRA” It’s not difficult to live for God; he makes it so plain, notice what he says in the verse below:

Pro 13:15 Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.

I’ve often said, if you live for God easy, it will be hard, but if you live for God hard, it will be easy!

He deserves our very best, after all look what he gave to us! THE BEST! Himself.

Soft words, powerful response!

Pro 15:1 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Somebody one time said! " I like to give them a piece of my mind " my question to you is this, ...are you sure you have enough to spare?

We don't always need to feel that we need to tell someone off, sometimes just a soft answer is all we need. Notice the word say, we can turn away wrath with just a soft answer.

Let's use the word of God to our advantage, read and learn from the Word of God and you will be the better for it.

The meanest individual can be calmed with just a soft answer, try it and see if you don't get further than trying to get even or revengeful.

Have a blessed day!

The Blessed Trade off.

Isa 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

When you consider the trade off that God gives to his people, one can see very quickly that we get a pretty good deal. What he gives to us is of far greater value than what we give to him in return.

Beauty for that which has been burned, anointing that is blended with joy, for sorrow mingled with tears, and shouts of praise with rejoicing for that ole spirit of heaviness that settles right in the midst of your chest.

That we might be like trees which blow beautifully in the wind as though we were waving or better yet praising our redeemer just like tree limbs blowing in a strong wind of refreshing.

Remember! who did the planting! The Master Gardener, that he would receive the credit for his work in us. OH! my friend, we get the best deal ever, simply by trusting God and letting him have his way with us and then his glory for that which is done is revealed.

Trusting in God we always get the best of his favor poured out.

Bless his Holy Name! Jesus!!

The War is on!

Waging War against the enemy is not easy to do by yourself, one must realize that we need to face him with God on our side and our Brothers & Sisters in the Lord in order to really be an over comer.

The enemy has crept into our territory many times and he has robbed us of the Joy, Victory and for some even their health that belongs to them.

Never turn your back on the enemy because he will do his best to catch you off your guard and destroy you.

We are living in a time of testing, a time of apostasy (A desertion of or a departure from one's faith) don’t let the enemy get you into that place.

People are at a point where they no longer feel or believe like they did at one time, it’s no longer necessary (or so they say!) to hold to the biblical truths that have been held for so long.

There is a definite turning from the righteousness of God to some watered down pack of lies and fallacies (erroneous belief, myth, misleading notion) but God will have a people that are going to serve him and trust him and they WILL live their lives so that they will be pleasing unto him at all cost.

Are you ready and willing to do battle? Those that are willing to wage war against the enemy must rise to the occasion NOW! This is the hour to fight back for families, friends, blessings and so many other things that belong to us out of the goodness of God.

We are losing people to so many destructive things, which have lured them away with such subtleness.

Much work is left to do in this world, but friend; in the realm of the spirit we are facing a war.

Are you Battle Ready or Battle weary?

Praying with you in mind.

REVIVAL IS IN THE LAND! What are you Experiencing?

We have been in several Holy Ghost filled meetings over the last few weeks and we have had a wonderful time.

The power of God is being poured out in a tremendous way and we are so thankful for what God is doing in the lives of so many. This past Sunday morning we preached at a small country church and we absolutely had a glorious time in the Lord.

People are so hungry for a genuine move of God in this hour and they are looking for the REAL, not some sort of make shift feel good for the moment kind of feeling.

The best thing a person can do in this hour is to make up in their mind and spirit that you are going to be victorious, and this my friend will come with a price. The enemy will fight you with everything he can, but when you have a made up mind that you are going to receive everything that you can from God and not back up you just opened the flood gates for God to bless you and he will.

We had another HOLY GHOST impact service Sunday night at our home church, we are seeing revival in a great way, I looked at my wife at church Sunday night as people were filling up the Sanctuary and I said where are all these people coming from? But when you get something stirred up in the Holy Ghost people will hear about it and they will come.

I hope you are not going to some dead dry service and not feeling the POWER of GOD in a great way! God is doing a great work in this hour for those that want something done in their hearts, if you just want to go through some motion and not experience the Power of God, you can find that just about anywhere.

I have seen it here at home , and it thrills my heart, our young people are getting in every service and they are bringing other young people and we have seen a mighty move of God like we have not seen in a long time. The WORD is being preached so powerful and we have such an anointing, there is something in every service for everybody.

I have even watched our elder folks get right in the midst of all that is going on and they are being blessed tremendously.

Just as a reminder, I have several meetings coming up and we are looking forward to this same POWER of God moving at the Churches where we will be throughout Tennessee, Kentucky and the list goes on.

If you Pastors out there that are reading this blog and are needing Revival in your church you need to be calling me 731-586-4210 and lets make plans to be at your church soon. Don't make all the excuses that I hear from time to time. We Can't Afford It! You can't afford not to have Revival!

Thanks to all of you that follow my Blog and that pray for us continuously, the list is getting bigger all the time.

START THINKING REVIVAL!!! and give me a call. I will bring the WORD to your church!!!

Praying with you in mind.

What are you trusting in?

2Sa 22:2 And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

Reading through the word of God is so refreshing, everything we are dealing with in life can be found in and throughout this Book of Books.

The writer above says: his foundation is Solid, we all know that when we build on ROCK we are stable, he also say that the Lord is his shelter, his Fortress, and then in everything we get ourselves into or whatever comes our way the Lord is our Deliverer.

Wow! just think of what we have on our side, he will never leave us or forsake us, we are the ones that do the leaving, every time all the time. We need to stand firm and trust God in all that we do and that we desire.

Blessings to you my friends, may this be a great day for you!

Who but God, can do such things as these?

Sis. Mc Gee and I are so thankful that today we celebrate our wedding anniversary, and for this we thank our God. I love you Sweetheart! You are my gift from God.

Mar 7:37 And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.

There is a variety of different things that we all do or can do if the need arises, some of these things we are good at, others no so good. We all have different talents that we have been given and in a nice kind of way we can be so thankful ( in other words brag just a little ) for these things for which we have ability.

Some are good at writing, cooking, some are fast readers; some may know computers, electronics, etc. Others may just be good at some menial task, but it's something you can do.

On the other hand, the Word teaches us that God does ALL THINGS WELL! If that be the case, doesn't it make sense to turn over whatever we might be going through today to God and let him take care of us?

Another verse says:

1Pe 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

What a blessing to be able to cast our cares upon the very one that does ALL Things Well! Let's not allow ourselves to deal with things that we should be turning over to the very one that cares for us, and he cared so much, that he made us in his likeness and in his image.

When it comes to getting the job done, God has us all beat! and for this I am thankful.

The closer you look the better he gets.

Isa 45:5 I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

My friend, it could not be any more plain than this, there is no God beside me, he said, ...and there is none else. Why do people chase after so many things and never seem to make the grade when it comes to really being fulfilled and happy.

God even makes the statement here, I girded thee, even though you have made NO attempt to even get to know me or my power or my blessings the way you need to.

God is a gentleman, even though you made no attempt I still clothed thee, ask yourself this question. What would God have done if we would have drawn closer to him like we should have? What might we have avoided if we had a closer RELATIONSHIP with him?

People always want God to fix everything after they mess it all up. Why not turn it all over to him to begin with?

Let's do our part to get closer to God TODAY! Pray and seek his face, for he is wonderful!

Praying with you in mind,

Tired of the Ordinary!

Job 23:10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

What is on your agenda for the day? what are the things that will take place in your life, your family or just in your world. The verse above says, he knows the way that I take.

Do we know the direction we are headed? what are we doing about it? Listen to me my friend, -----If God be your partner, make NO small plans.----- I am trusting God to do things in my life and yours that are out of the ordinary, they are in a realm that we seldom visit.

We all want the best for are families and we must be determined to GO After it.

I was just thinking about two words, Super and Natural the word Super is a word that relates to Large, Big, Giant, Huge. The word Natural relates to things that are common, every day, usual, repetitious, frequent etc.

You must get to the place that you become weary with the small, the mundane, and we must learn to walk in the SUPER NATURAL.

Now don't get silly on me, I'm not talking about things that are way out there in left field, I'm talking about walking in the realm of the Spirit and letting God do things for us that we CAN'T do for ourselves.

Then they will be things that are Large, Big, Huge and they will NOT be common, they will be extraordinary, are you with me?

I am TRUSTING God for these things for me , for you, for those that will give themselves to him in an un-ordinary way.

Let our ways be his ways, let our thoughts be his thoughts, let our desires be his desires, that's what I am trying to get across to us today and I pray that you get it!!!

Be on target today! be on purpose! and let's just see what God will do for us IF we let him.

Praying with you in mind.
