The Blessed Trade off.

Isa 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

When you consider the trade off that God gives to his people, one can see very quickly that we get a pretty good deal. What he gives to us is of far greater value than what we give to him in return.

Beauty for that which has been burned, anointing that is blended with joy, for sorrow mingled with tears, and shouts of praise with rejoicing for that ole spirit of heaviness that settles right in the midst of your chest.

That we might be like trees which blow beautifully in the wind as though we were waving or better yet praising our redeemer just like tree limbs blowing in a strong wind of refreshing.

Remember! who did the planting! The Master Gardener, that he would receive the credit for his work in us. OH! my friend, we get the best deal ever, simply by trusting God and letting him have his way with us and then his glory for that which is done is revealed.

Trusting in God we always get the best of his favor poured out.

Bless his Holy Name! Jesus!!
