There is one that knows it all.

Pro 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Pro 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

There are many things in life that one knows and many things we just don't know, in all honesty, we just don't have a clue. We try to figure things out and sometimes we even just suppose it to be this way or that way.

Sometimes, life is just complicated by the many different things that we all seem to have going on. We wonder many times why things happen to us the way that they do, and we could go on and on trying to reason and understand and still really never get close.

Here is what I want to say in the matter today. Regardless of what is happening to us or around us we need to continue to keep our trust, faith and confidence in Jesus.

In all of these things we know; "what ever is over our heads, is under his feet".

I trust that this will be a great day for you as put your confidence in the one that knows the end from the beginning.

How far beyond your problem can you see?

I know that sometimes it’s hard for us to see what God is doing in our lives, but we do know that God is in control. God knows how to take care of his people even in the very midst of their troubles.

You may have what feels like the biggest problem you have ever had to face, but you can walk in victory my friend.

God is more powerful in a moment, than anything else, even over the course of a life time. If we live our lives to bring glory to God there will be blessings in our midst.

Never allow the enemy to persuade you down some road of nothingness. I am glad to report to you that God wants you blessed, uplifted and encouraging others that are struggling in this same way.

We must not become blinded to the blessings ahead of us; we need to be able to see far enough ahead that what we are faced with now, will pass.

Many of you have shared stories with me of your difficulties, some are health related, some family situations, and some financial, some being backslid and away from God, but as long as we have life we have hope, if we have hope and do our part we know it can’t stay this way long, no season last forever. Be blessed today!

Faith that moves God.

Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

There is just something very powerful about exercising our FAITH and as the scripture says, it is one of the very things that Please God.

We must put our trust in God and know that he is working on our behalf and he will always give us better than what we even expected.

FEED YOUR FAITH AND YOUR DOUBT WILL STARVE TO DEATH.

Doing things on purpose.

Have you ever went out of your way to make somebody feel good? Oh! what a great feeling that is! Just to do something nice for someone, it doesn't have to be some great thing, just something simple. I really enjoy watching people get blessed by something I did.
As we live our lives, I really think it's a wonderful thing to do things on purpose. In other words, go out of your way to do a good deed for someone, make them feel special and just watch the smile you can put on their face, and do you know what? you did it on purpose. You made it happen, they'll never forget it in most cases.
I was standing in line the other day at the store, I purposely let another person go ahead of me, they had one or two more items in their arms so it looked like a good excuse, but they were so appreciative.
Sometimes if we are trying to find a parking place and there are other folks trying to park, I'll let them have the one up close and look for another, they always smile and wave and say some kind words and they treat you like you were their best friend. It's funny how in a case like that, they even act like they have known you for years.
Why don't you take the rest of this week and play the nice guy game, come on, it won't kill you! Just watch and see how many people that you can make smile by just doing little things on purpose. That's right! make a game out of it and have some fun helping others to feel better.
One other thing to think about, has anybody ever cut you off while you were driving and you thought to yourself, what's this knuckle head doing? You know you have! I have, many times. But did you ever think, that just maybe they just got some bad news, or maybe they just lost their job or maybe even worse, somebody they know just died and they had that on their mind, you never know!
Let's be considerate of one another and make it a point to make somebody happy and smile, of course, if you don't like this idea and somebody cuts you off while you're driving, Just ram em', shake your fist at them, challenge them to a good ole fist fight right out there in the parking lot because they got your place. I know what you're thinking, that don't even make sense, thank you! that's my whole point, it makes more sense to make em' smile, try it and see!

Are you singing to your Well?

Num 21:17 Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it:

This thought and verse came to my mind this morning, so! I am asking you the question, are you singing to your well?

Notice what the word said, Spring up! in other words, ERUPT!! give up what you have from within. I believe that each of us have been given by God things that are good, peace, power, joy, victory, health & blessings.

Many times if we are not careful these things will lay dormant deep within us and we must recall these things from time to time, just like your PC, you call things back from the memory of your hard drive in order to revisit them.

We must be willing as in the verse to sing to the well of our soul, SPRING UP! Give up that which is good. We know that it's there because God put it there my friend.

When David encouraged himself in the Lord, where did he get the encouragement? it was down in his well my friend. I am singing to my soul today, SPRING UP!!!

Just think if we all start singing, what harmony we can make before the Lord and we can drown out the noise of the enemy.

Sing my friend Sing!

Trouble in this world.

Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Seems like problems are on every side, does it feel that way to you? Notice what we are told here in the Word, he tells us to be of good cheer for he has overcome the world.

Regardless of what we may be going through today we can make it, if we will keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and keep our trust in him.

We may have difficulties and they are not always easy, but my friend, we can overcome and be victorious in all that we do.

Remember the song, Everybody will be happy over there!

You are in my prayers today!

Going Beyond the Sacrifice

Psa 51:15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

Psa 51:16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering.

Psa 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

When it comes to Sacrifices and things offered up to God, they all have their individual place, but the truth of the matter is simply this, God is NOT looking for those kinds of things in this day and hour in which we live, but here’s what he is looking for.

God is looking for you and I to come to him with a spirit that is broken and a heart that is ready to serve and to be obedient to him.

When we come before God in this manner, it’s then that he knows that we are pliable and we are able to be used of him in his special way.

It’s almost impossible to get on a horse and ride it until his wild spirit has been broken. Now this does not mean beat down! It just simply means, ready to work in harmony with, and this is when God can get his best use out of us when our spirit is ready to serve and be obedient to him so that he can lead and guide us and so that we will be meet for the Master’s use.

2Ti 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

This is how we go beyond the sacrifice, and we offer to God something he can deal with and use, something that will work in accordance with his will and his purpose.

If it was just a sacrifice that he wanted, we could all go out and get that, but he wants something a little more special, he wants us where he can do his work through us.

Let’s give of ourselves to him in a special way and watch him bless us like never before.

Remember, let’s pray one for another!

Evangelist: Frank Mc Gee ~

One way or another, they all come down.

If you are like the rest of the folks that are trying to live for God, then you know what it's like to face obstacles from time to time. Maybe you even face them more often then most. Whatever the case, the good news is that we have a God on our side that is always willing to help us.
Throughout the Word of God we read about the numerous battles that the children of God fought continuously and how they overcame by staying the course. The enemy would like for us to just give up, throw in the towel so to speak, but we will not give in to the enemy of our soul.
I am thankful that even though I face many battles on a daily basis, I have armed myself with several things. One of those things is the Mighty Word of God, for even David said, I have hid thy word in my heart that I might not sin against thee. The other thing is, being around fellow believers and gleaning from them and hearing their testimonies of encouragement, this helps me to realize that I can make it just like them.
But one of the things that I have purposed in my life, and that is to find as many prayer worriers that I can possibly find that I know pray and I have them to pray with me. It would be safe for me to say that just about at any time of the day I have many friends around the world that call my name out in prayer and bring my name before the throne of God. That has always been one of my desires, to get as many people praying with me as I can have, this way, my life is always being bathed in prayer and what a great feeling that is when you have that kind of assurance.
If I were you, I would get as many people as I could to become my friends in prayer, and I have hundreds and I mean hundreds. Just thinking about that thought gives me encouragement because I know that I am not alone, I have my prayer worrier friend that know how to pray and I would rather have that then a whole bunch of money, and guess what? I need money! we all do, but I would rather have the prayers of the Saints of the most high God binding together with me.
Here is one more great thought that I want to give you and this should be a strength to you as you are faced with whatever your situation might be. Remember this, for every Goliath that we face in this life there is always a STONE!
Don't call your problem BIG! you never see where David ever referred to Goliath as a giant, he was a uncircumcised philistine and really that's all he was, and when David realized that, with God and a stone David brought Goliath down.
God Bless you!

A time to pray.

Jam 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

The bible teaches us a lot about prayer, most people, if they pray at all, it's a word prayer with very few words.

Example: Dear God, We need you today, please help us and bless us with a lot of good things please help everybody else that I know, AMEN!

That! my friend is NOT praying! If you talked to your best friend like that, you probably wouldn't be best friends for long. Our praying needs to be targeted, meaningful, sincere and with all of the intention to see the working power of God do what we are asking him to do.

No, it doesn't have to be long and drawn out, but it needs to be a time when you are not in a hurry and a time when you can minister to God with your thanksgiving and your praise to him and then during this time you bring your petitions before him, and because of his love for us as we live for him according to his word, he seeks to bless us and answer our call.

He wants to bless us and meet our every need that you and I have , in fact, he knows our needs even before we ask, but the word says plainly, that you have not because you ask not or simply because we asked with the wrong intentions.

We all need to have a time of prayer, one of the things has has helped me is to have a set time that I pray and God always meets me there because he knows I'm coming to that place and he knows when.

My dear sweet old uncle use to tell me and teach me, that prayer was one of the key ways to heaven, it took me some time to really understand what he meant by that, but now I am so glad that I know.

Set some time a side today my friend and everyday and bring all your cares to Jesus, he wants to help us in every matter of our lives.

I'll be talking in the near future of some ways to help you during your prayer time and how to be more effective when you pray, but for now just do it! it's not hard to do but set time aside for your prayer time and that will help a lot.

Try it and see if you don't even feel better after you have spent some time alone with God in some very special uninterrupted time.

Blessings to you!

Common Sense, hmmm!

Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Psa 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

We have all heard the term just use Common Sense!

You would think that serving and living for God would be something of common sense, but as you look around this world and see how people live and their disregard for following after The Master, you begin to realize that common sense is really not so common.

Those of you that are hungry for the Word of God and that continue to strive after him, what a blessing we find in serving the Lord.

My desire is to always follow after the things of God, but for me, that's just common sense.

What your day holds, or WHO holds your day?

Pro 27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.

We certainly know that every day that we live brings with it, joy, excitement, and even pain, many uncertainties have been a part of our lives since the day we were born.

The Word of God teaches us not to boast concerning tomorrow, because we have no way of knowing what the day holds for any of us.

Let me encourage you with this, we know and have the assurance that God is in control of everyday, it is in him that we trust and put our confidence that he will direct our steps in all things if we allow him to. If not, we are simply on our own!

I am thankful that we have been given this opportunity to be lead by God and for this I am forever grateful.

How much can we endure?

1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

How much can I take? Have you ever asked yourself that question before? of course you have, in fact, we all at one point or another get to that place.

Isn't it wonderful that God reminds us through his word, that there is a limit, he says that it is common. We may not feel like it's common, but God knows us better than we know ourselves and how much we can take.

So! be of good courage that God has not forgotten you nor will he. In this, we can rejoice, because God is Faithful to take care of us in every situation we have in our lives, we just need to learn the lesson at hand and continue to move forward.

Take the rest of this week and think of two or three people that you absolutely know that are having difficult times and hold them up before God and watch how even your circumstance WILL change,

Not as smart as we thought!

1Co 3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

1Co 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

1Co 3:20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

We live in the Information age, people are becoming smarter and smarter, or so they think! they increase with knowledge, they invent new ways of doing things, getting the job done in less time with sometimes even less money, but it is foolishness according to God.
It's amazing that people can figure out how to do a wide variety of things, yet they don't know how to get saved the Bible way, and live for God and bring him Glory on a daily basis. They say they are saved, yet they continue in SIN and they are a rebellious people, not wanting instruction, but say, "I'll do it my way!" these people are in danger of being lost throughout eternity.
My friend, there is NO second chance, this is not as some suppose a dress rehearsal, this is the REAL THING!!
What we do now matters and will matter throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity, don't wait until it's too late to realize that things were not quite the way you thought they should be, there is no turning back then, we will all give an account for all deeds done in this life, I refuse to take a chance at just living on the edge.
Many times the question to the Pastor is NOT so much what is SIN? and what is not? but the question is HOW CLOSE CAN WE GET? I don't want to live my life like that and I will not. I will sound the alarm to those that I can reach and say you MUST live right in order to make heaven your home.
You see my friend, it's all about REPENTANCE, if we are sincere, when we make a mistake, and we will, we can come to God and ask him to forgive us and the Word says:

1Jo 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1Jo 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

He plainly lets us know in another place that if his word was not in us, there are certain things that would not be done :

Joh 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Joh 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Joh 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

Joh 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Joh 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Joh 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. Joh 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

I am once again reminded of the song, OH! I want to see him and look upon his face... I don't want to miss Heaven for this world, and don't forget, this world is already in a destructive mode. I am excited about the things of God. I trust that you will really get in the Word and let the Word get in you and let God Bless you the he would like to.

The Mercy Of God.

Psa 106:1 Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Throughout the Bible you will find the word MERCY in 261 verses not counting (mercies, merciful, etc.)

Here we are with a brand new week and a fresh start, let's enjoy what God has given to us with this clean slate and just see what it will look at the end of the week.

I am looking for great things on this fresh piece of canvas, you and I are the artists and with the help of God, we can paint ourselves a beautiful week of blessing by following after the things that God would have for us.

I don't know about you, but I need the mercy of God in my life, and never want to be without it.

I pray this is a beautiful week for you, and I speak that over you in the Name of Jesus!

To whom do you belong?

John 10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

John 10:5

And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

There is something to be said about sheep that know the voice of their Sheppard. The word says above ... And a stranger will they not follow. These are some very powerful words here that let us know that Jesus looks at his sheep as sheep that are special and they according to him are worthy of ownership.

They also have certain characteristics about them, they are not like any other of the animals, they have a certain loyalty if you will, to the one that has possession of them. They don't stray away and just run after anything, they follow his voice.

My question to you is this, who has ownership of you? God will have a people that belong to him, that are set apart from the world. They won't follow after the things of the world nor look for the pleasures that this world offers in place of the joy that God gives to those that will serve him wholeheartedly.

We are to be the sheep of his pasture, that let's us know that there are those that are NOT, even though we hear folks say "well, we're all headed to the same place" my friend, that is simply NOT TRUE! Think about it, if there are sheep that knows his voice and follow him, that lets us know that there are others that are following something else.

Let's live for God and do what he would have us to do so that we can be blessed of God and be set apart here in this world and receive the reward that he will have for those that follow him. I'm sure there will also be a reward for those that don't follow him, but not one that will be liked, but then it will be too late!

Oh! how I love my Sheppard!

God on your side.

I want to take this time today to thank the many of you that visit the blog on a dailey basis.

It is an effort to put something here everyday, but it has helped so many of you and as you share your stories with me concerning the things that you are faced with on a daily basis, and how what I put here has been an encouragement to you is the reason that I do this.

We pray for you all daily and will continue to do so, may you be blessed this very day!

Deu 20:4 For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

Through Jesus we overcome and have our testimony.

Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

What a wonderful thought that by the blood of the Lamb and our testimony we can overcome, he made us to be victorious and for this I am thankful.

Whatever you may be facing today my friend you can lift up your head and be thankful that even before the battle he made us over comers.

What does it take in your life to be happy?

Pro 3:13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

Did you ever notice that many times it’s the people with lots of money that are very unhappy within their lives? Some of these people have all that they could possibly want, or so they think.

Inside, they are really hurting, because they just don’t have the joy that they would like to have, one of the reason for this is they have held their peace and comfort in material things.

Some of these folks that have had all their heart could wish for have used drugs, alcohol, and many other vices to try and gain some sort of joy or even momentary peace.

How many have decided that life was just not worth living and then they took their own lives. I have known lots of folks that could have anything they wanted to have, in terms of material things, but deep inside, they were miserable and had many bad days that brought them no comfort.

Many of these people will even take their own lives and leave their misery to their families; they can’t really enjoy what someone left behind for them because of their trail of sorrows.

On the other hand, I have watched people that had very little, they had an undeniable joy and peace and a desire to enjoy their lives and also their families. These people are full of hope and happiness and they just enjoy life. They have a very genuine level of value that means so much to them.

My prayer is that I never chase after things that are empty and void of God, things that are hollow and have no value. I’m glad for the knowledge that I have and I know where the real peace is.

Our hope needs to be in Jesus, because it’s only in him that we can know genuine peace and only he can satisfy your soul.

Blessings to you my friend,

Evangelist: Frank Mc Gee ~

Don't miss the important things.

Pro 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Pro 16:16 How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!

Throughout the course of our lives we spend our time getting things.

We have our individual desires as to the kind of schools we go to, or the kind of car we will drive, the house we will live in, places we go, things we want to achieve and on and on.

When you really understand the value of these things or the lack thereof, you begin to realize that there really are more important aspects of life than THINGS.

Here is something above that I have found in the word of God that has helped me more than anything else and that is getting understanding & wisdom through Gods Holy Word and these above all others.

If we can somehow grasp this very idea and principle we will have a lot less trouble in our lives, you'll still have problems but just think! you'll have wisdom & understanding to help you through it all.

God giveth PEACE, need some?

Isa 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

What is it about trust, you can't see it, you can't feel it, you just know it!

Then the question may be asked, how do you know? Well! since we're talking about God you look at his track record. Not one failure, not one battle lost, not one problem unsolved, that is, when you really turn it over to God.

The hard part is we tend to hold on to things and try to work them out by ourselves and then we realize that we really need someone that is better at what we are trying to fix than we are.

Yes, it's simply about trust, and being able to relinquish what ever it is that we are dealing with over to God. What did he say he would give us? Perfect PEACE! sounds pretty good, but this comes only when we keep our mind continually on him.

Can we do that? he said we could! we know that we are wonderfully made and many times we must exercise the abilities that he has given to us and then we can enjoy his peace.

Let's do that today with whatever we have on our plate and turn it over to God, he'll care for you and that is his desire.

Psa 27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

If you are feeling overwhelmed today and your circumstances seem to be overpowering you, here is some encouragement. There is something about our trust that we put in the Lord, when we allow him to lead us and guide us he always directs our steps.

Notice what he tells us in his word above, he will put us in his hiding place and protect us, but this kind of protection comes with surrendering completely to him.

Many times we want his protection, yet we still want to do things our way. We must learn that his way is always above ours.

I am so thankful today, that I have my trust in him and in doing this, of whom shall I be afraid?

Try a little kindness.

There is a great amount of Joy that one gets when you help other people. I have always made it a point to visit the elderly and try to spend a little time with them and bring them some encouragement.

I remember when I was just a kid, I had a shoe shine route in Chicago ( the Austin District ) I would go on the weekend and shine shoes, I usually made about $75 bucks, which for a little fellow about 12 - 13 yrs. old was really good.

This helped me to pick up other jobs, like mowing yards; something pretty neat happened in my old grass cutting days, I even use to cut the grass for Paul Harvey! Yep! And now you know the rest of the story, and then there was the washing windows even walking dogs and I even picked up a grocery route where I would bring things to the elderly.

There is such a blessing in visiting these elderly folks, Oh! I learned a lot just listening to them; I even have a dear ole friend locally that I still visit today that I have known for many years. For years after his wife passed away, I would go by and make coffee for him and we would sit and drink coffee and read the paper together, just having a little time a fellowship, it means a lot to this ole friend of mine.

I have many folks that even till this very day, I call and chat with from time to time, some now are very elderly and yes many have died off.

There is also my ole 4th. grade school teacher that I still talk to even till this day, she' s way up in age, but still has a great mind, and she'll read this blog and know who I am talking about.

Then there is my ole Eye Doctor, Dr. Geo. Litsinger he was a dear friend of mine, back when I was 7 yrs. old, he fitted me for my first pair of glasses, I used to clean his office, take out the trash, clean windows and other little chores he would have me to do, of course he's passed away several years ago, but I still stay in touch with his family.

I could go on and on, sometimes even my wife gets amazed at how I still try to keep up with some of these folks that are still hangin' on or at least I stay in touch with their kin folks.

I know that down through the years, I have brought a lot of joy to these elders and it has even meant a lot to me, As I said, there is a real blessing in doing this, SO! here is my challenge for the week end, find someone perhaps elderly that you could be an encouragement to and go by and visit them, or give them a call, perhaps have a word of prayer with them, just let them know that you really care and see if you don't have a great weekend yourself. Come on, Just try a little kindness.

Blessings to you my friend,

What kind of company are you keeping?

Luke 22:61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

Somebody one time said, "Birds of a feather, flock together". Just about anyone should know that you really need to be cautious as to the kind of company you keep, the kinds of influence that you allow yourself to be around can be the very thing that will cause you to win or lose in this life.
In (Luke 22:54-66) You begin to see quickly, that as Peter starting rubbing elbows with a certain crowd, that he really had no business even being around, he began to lose his love, direction & vision for the things that really mattered most in his life.
Jesus even warned him, that because of his involvement with the individuals he was with, it would eventually cause him to lose sight of his goal.
Be sure to take the time to read this account and you will quickly see how all of this took place, notice, it didn't take a long period of time, it happened simply because of the overwhelming negative influence that one was willing to keep.
We really need to ask ourselves what kind of company am I keeping? what about the people that I am involved with, are they draining me? or are they adding to the integrity factor of my life?
Ask yourself, how can the company that I am keeping help me to add to the Kingdom of God?
Remember, even Peter who spent lots of time with Jesus, started following him afar off because his victory and direction had been lost and compromised as a result.
It does matter who we hang around! follow Jesus and be blessed.

When waiting brings strength.

Isa 40:31

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their
strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

What a verse! this is the key in the lock for so many of us, if we will just realize what God is saying to us in his word how comforting it would be. He conveys to us so many times that his strength is sufficient.

Whatever you might be going through this day, may I remind you, never get ahead of what God is doing in your life. Trust him my friend, for I know that he is faithful in all that he does.

His timing is always right, his ways are above ours, waiting on God will bring you strength.

Losing repeatedly and still being a winner.

Trusting in God takes unmovable faith and determination that we will not allow defeat to control our lives at any time, even in the difficult times that we all face. Reading the word of God will give us direction, wisdom, understanding in a variety of areas in our lives. As we learn to trust him on a daily basis we will face circumstances but we can still be over comers.

Too often, it seems to me, people lose their courae in facing life because of past failures or fear that they may fail in the future. One good way to cure such fears is to remember the story of a man who actually built a life of accomplishments out of defeats.

The following litany of failures, followed by victories that punctuated his life throughout 30 years, is a living and eloquent example of successful use of defeat in achieving victory. Abraham Lincoln's record is as follows:

· Lost job, 1832

· Defeated for legislature, 1832

· Failed in business, 1833

· Elected to legislature, 1834

· Sweetheart (Ann Rutledge) died, 1835

· Had nervous breakdown, 1836

· Defeated for Speaker, 1838

· Defeated for nomination for Congress, 1843

· Elected to Congress, 1846

· Lost renomination, 1848

· Rejected for Land Officer, 1849

· Defeated for Senate, 1854

· Defeated for nomination for Vice-President, 1856

· Again defeated for Senate, 1858

· Elected President, 1860

Never forsaken.

Jos 1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Heb 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

I know that we all face many different things in our lives and many of us are going through them right now.

We are living in a very demanding time, difficulty on every side. Problems in our world, the economy, troubles in our homes, schools, the work place and the list goes on.

There is nobody in this life that has all of the answers, though there are many books about dealing with various issues and some of the books one may read may shed some light on a variety of subjects, one still needs something else working in there life, and that something is actually someone, and his name is Jesus!

You see, he is above all things and by him as the scripture says, all things were created and by him all things consist.

There needs to be an element of TRUST that one must have in order to endure the pressures of this life. We must have a hope, we must have a confidence that we have placed our trust in him and that he will direct our steps.

Dealing with difficult situations and not having direction in your life is not an easy task, but it is one that you can still be victorious in, if you and I will place our trust in God.

He tells us in his word that if we will but trust him and delight ourselves in him, that he would give us the desires of our hearts.

What is your desire today my friend? is it to trust God and make sure that you are totally surrendered to him? These are question we must ask ourselves.

I guess life was just not meant to be easy, but, we can make it.

Spend some time in prayer today, lift up your head and be glad in this day that God has given to us, pray for those that you know are having difficult times.

Many times, it's when we give of ourselves to others, that we feel the most pleasure, there is joy in giving! And God loves a cheerful giver.

A Fresh Start!

Psa 118:24

This is
the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Today, A Brand New Day!

What will you do with this day, it's new , it's fresh, it 's like a fresh sheet of paper to an artist that has nothing on it. Forget about yesterday! it's time to start anew.

Today is really a wonderful gift to many of us for this simple reason, whatever we have been dealing with we can start all over. A day with NO mistakes, a time for a new beginning for the tasks at hand.

I know this doesn't make our difficulties go away, but when you start over fresh, there is such power to greet the morning with a positive outlook that God is helping you THIS DAY!

He is giving you a new strength and a new vision for the journey ahead. The writer above said; God made this day and I will be Glad and I will Rejoice in it.

God Bless you my friend, you are in my prayers today!

What more could we need?

Psa 18:2

The LORD is
my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

What a comforting verse, it's all inclusive as to what God will be for us IF we just let him be the God in our lives that he desires to be.

We can stand on his promises that he will always be here for us in our need and for this we have every reason to rejoice, He's our ROCK!

Blessings to you this day.
