Neh 8:10
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.I am persuaded that there is a vast difference in being happy and being full of Joy.
Happiness comes to us many times in spurts, something funny that we hear, maybe a child doing something cute, maybe we get a check in the mail unexpected. But these things only make us happy temporary.
The scripture says, "the joy of the Lord is your strength". This is something that is inward, the world didn't give to you and the world can't take it away.
I am glad for the JOY that I have in my Soul, for it truly is my Strength.
Praying with you in mind,
Evangelist: Frank Mc Gee ~
