What's on your mind?

Psa 8:4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

What a question! think about it, what is man, that thou art MIND-FULL of him? Think with me for a moment, the writer is expressing his understanding of the Lord and that his mind (whose mind? the mind of the Lord) is FULL of us.

Can you just imagine that even the very thoughts of our God are surrounded with us, he wants nothing but the best for us, and for mankind to have a visitation with him. Is it any wonder that another scripture says;

Isa 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

You see! it's a two way street my friend, our thoughts are on him, his thoughts are on us. These verses have always done something in my spirit, just knowing that God cares so much for us that we are the very center of his thoughts.

What is it like when you think of an ole friend? perhaps someone that you've not seen in a while or even talked to, your thoughts are wonderful things like getting to be with them again and sharing those joyous moments, reminiscing, if we think like this, how does God think?

He wants the best for each and everyone of us, don't you think it's right for us to give him our best!

We sing the song, " you deserve glory, and the honor, as we lift our hands in worship, as we magnify the Lord, ... What a beautiful song of praise and worship to the one whose mind is on us continually.

I just want to EXALT him today, because he truly deserves our praise.

When NOTHING seems to work!

Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  ...Next verse says; STAND THEREFORE!...

We've all attempted things at one time or another that was just out of our total control, not like driving a vehicle, at least you can steer it where you want it to go.

What do we do when things are NOT in our control? yet we have done everything that we know to do and we've even done everything that we know to do RIGHT! ...and things still seem not to be going the way that we would like for them to turn out.

My Friend, these are tuff matters and guess what? I don't have anything else to say except as the Word above teaches us, and that is to STAND.

There are just some things that we need God to work out for us, and if you'll look at his track record, he always gets it right!

I've talked with people that were sick, dealing with problems, family issues or what have you, they did everything according to plan and it still seems as though the bottom falls completely out and YES! it's discouraging, but keep standing!!!

God has a way of showing up at just the right time! My only advise that I can give is this, keep praying, trusting, believing and stay in the Word of God, refreshing yourself with power from on high and you will be victorious.  This I can speak my friend from experience. May God Richly Bless You!

How Big is your Cord?

Ecc 4:12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

We have all heard it said, ...that a threefold cord is not quickly (or easily) broken. I think about the many people that are hurting, as you read this you may be one of them, if they just had someone or others that could bind together with them to stay in the fight, how much better off they would be.

The enemy wants to destroy individuals, families, marriages and ministries and the list goes on, but something happens when people stand firm together and pray for one another, as with the 3 fold cord. It's easy to listen to the various problems that people have and to think that we have done good just to know the information about them, but do we really pray for them?

Please understand that knowing about someones troubles is NOT the same as bringing that person's need before the throne of God and committing that need to God in prayer.

I have often thought of how we take prayer requests at many churches and there may be 8 or 10 or even 20 or more requests and I would be willing to say that out of all of those prayer request the real focus of prayer concerning them is the 30-45 seconds or so that people pray as a church body and then those needs are many times, simply FORGOTTEN.

I am thankful for those that I have as my prayer warriors, these are people that I have purposely chosen as my prayer partners, they don't know it many times, but I have chosen them to pray with me concerning my needs, but in return, I make sure that I am returning the blessing by praying with them concerning their needs.

You may ask, how many do I have? let me just say this, I have many, I'm always looking for more, would you like to join with me? I welcome you. What will I do in return, I will commit to praying with you concerning your situations that you have going on in your life, but you'll have to pray with us. This is how you have a threefold cord, in this case that I am speaking of the cord turns into a rope or maybe even a chain.

This is what binding together is really all about, and let me tell you, it works! Okay! here is the challenge, take the next 10 days and start finding people that you can put on your team for prayer partners, let them know that you will commit to praying with them, and then do it! don't just say that you will and then forget about it.

Watch how your life will change, your prayer life will change also, you'll begin to get closer and closer to God. There is NO WAY that you could do this and NOT get closer to God.

To all of my PRAYER WARRIORS, I am so thankful for you and please know that we are praying with you concerning your needs and we are excited about the victory reports that we hear on a continuous basis.

Chosen by God!

John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
I remember a story of two little boys that were arguing with one another as to who was loved more by their parents.

The one boy emphatically said, he was loved much more than the other little fellow because the other little boy was adopted, and he was not really the son of his parents.

The adopted boy hearing that statement from his little opponent friend, squared off and poked his little chest out and said, you're parents had to except you because you were born of your mother and they didn't have a choice, but my parents CHOSE me, because where I came from, there were 12 other kids besides me in that room!

Wow! that's tellin' it, wouldn't you say? I really like that story because when I hear it, I think of the verse above that let's us know that Jesus chose us! ...then he goes on to tell us about using his Name and getting whatever we pray for, that's why you need to use good wisdom when you pray, you may get what you ask for and find out that you really didn't want it after all.

Remember today as you face whatever circumstance comes your way, that you were chosen by God, now it's up to us to show him how much we appreciate it by being obedient to him and living our lives for him everyday!

Let's bring some honor to the Name of Jesus! Let's lift him up instead of ourselves, won't that be a great thing to do? ...Well you know it is!

Down but NOT out!

2Co 4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; 2Co 4:9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;Throughout life there are many struggles that people go through, but one of the many wonderful things about living for God is that he helps us through everyone of them.

The verses above certainly bare out the fact that difficulties are sure to come, but they DON"T have to overtake you to the point of throwing in the towel.

Take a close look at this verse:

Psa 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. How many does it say that the Lord delivers them from? ALL of them!

We may be down from time to time but we are NOT out!  For this we can be ever thankful.

Share the gift that you have been given.

1Pe 4:10 As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

What is your gift or talent that you would be willing to share with others?
We have all been given some qualities that is different or that varies from someone else, and these talents we are entrusted with are our Lord's goods, and must be used to bring glory to him and we do so by being a blessing to those we come in contact with on a daily basis.
One may have the ability to encourage with the words that they speak, for someone else, it may be their voice in the singing of a song, maybe you are a good writer and have the gift of putting far reaching thoughts on paper that can minister to someone, just like a greeting card.
Maybe you are able to reach people through writing letters, poems or even short simple notes of encouragement; this could be something that would minister to hearts and lives of someone who is of a broken spirit.
Whatever your gift or talent may be, don’t let it die on the inside of you. A very close friend of mine asked me several months ago this very same sort of a question, was I just going to let what God had placed in me vanish or die with me? This is one of the reasons I started this blog.
We are all a contribution one to another, good or bad, which one will you be? Spread the gift that you have with others and you may be talked about for many years to come. Yes! perhaps even you could make a difference in someone’s life.
Let’s allow ourselves to be used to the Glory of God!

A Fresh Start!

Psa 92:10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

Have you ever felt like, "If I could just start FRESH!" we all have felt that way at one time or another, there is nothing like a fresh start, getting a new chance to do it all over again.

Well! It's Monday! and that is what we get, the start of a new week. Even David knew what it was like to have a new beginning, a fresh start, an opportunity to do things different.

I challenge you this week to take the biggest trial that you've been faced with and approach it again, season it with prayer, ask someone to agree with you and watch things begin to look different.

Don't waste the opportunity at hand, ask God for direction, get focused, then move forward with faith, knowing that you can be victorious and allow God to move in your life.

Now is a great time to start, while it is FRESH!

Let's get to the House of God!

Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

We have all heard the statement and perhaps even used it ourselves, Do I Have To?

I am excited about going to the House of God today, and having the opportunity to Worship and Magnify the King of Kings.

Do I have to? Know! I get to. I pray that you are going to hear the Word of God Preached today and that it is preached without fear or favor.

Just think, you have the opportunity of going to church, not because you have to, but you get to.

You will find encouragement & strength as you gather together to hear The Word of God.

Don't forget, you even got an extra hour of sleep this morning, there's another blessing!

Let's be a doer of that which is Good!

Jam 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Why is it, that many times we have a tendency to put off doing those things that we know are good and replacing them with things that only cause us to become guilty of the scripture above?

Do we realize that when these things are manifested in our lives we are actually practicing SIN? We as believers have an obligation to always do the RIGHT thing! When the right thing is accomplished in our lives we always feel better and we are blessed because of it.

Don't let the enemy sidetrack you into thinking, well, it's just a small thing, If we know to do the right thing in the first place then we MUST do it.

Let's continue to pray that God will lead us and direct us every step of the way!

Pray one for another.

Jam 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Just yesterday, I had a wonderful phone conversation with my sister who is without a doubt one of my biggest fans; she has let me know this without reservation. In fact, in her own words she said; “I would tell this in a crowd of thousands”. I am very humbled by this and so appreciative of her love and respect for me.

I spoke to her over the phone while she laid flat on her back in the hospital here in Tennessee. She has been having some tremendous difficulty with her legs and they have even discussed amputation with her in the past, but she is fighting that with everything in her. For the record, at one time my little sister weighed over 700 lbs. long story, for another day.

My sister is what some may call a baby Christian, she is by her own admission someone who is learning, but she is willing to learn. She has a long way to go, but she has been making some wonderful strides. I must say that I am also very excited about her direction.

Several years ago (about 20) I invited her to a revival that I was preaching up in the Chicago area and she came to hear me preach, she reminded me that the way that I had invited her was like this, hey! I want you to come and meet a friend of mine. If you want to know the truth I had totally forgotten this statement, but she won’t let me forget anymore, she constantly reminds me of this very act. I really didn’t even know until lately the impact it had made on her life.

I will tell more of this story at another time, but here is what I would like to ask of you for now, and until she reads this, she knows nothing about what I am asking, will you bind together with me for her need and let’s spend some time today and offer up some prayers for her in her situation, I want to see God heal her and I believe that he can and I believe that he will. Her name is Candy.

This is NOT just for my sister; I would do this for any of you, she does need our prayers and I know she will appreciate this more than words can say.

As I always say, Praying with YOU in mind,

Give and Receive in Return, this is Gods Principle.

Wow! Did we hit a home run with yesterday’s message or what? I have kindness reports or shall I say (reports of provoking) just flying into my email.

See, it just makes a person feel good about encouraging others; shouldn’t you do that more often? Doesn’t it just feel like the right thing to do? Well, it is!

Don’t you know that God desires us to help others along this path of life?

I have taught and lived by a principle for many years, this is something I have shared with folks over the many years of ministry, I pray that you will begin to use it yourself.

Here it is: “We only get to keep what we give away!”

KJV. Luk 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

I am a King James Version Preacher; I have always used the KJV. to preach from, but I do like to look at other versions to get a more clearer meaning or a different view, so I have included below an amplified version of the same verse above just to help you get a closer look at what I was trying to say here today for all of our benefit.

AMPL. Luk 6:38 Give away your life; you'll find life given back, but not merely given back--given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity."

I mean, that just really help that verse to stand out, don’t you think?

I speak blessings into all of your lives today! May you and your family be Blessed!!

May I PROVOKE you today?

Heb 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

When we think of the word PROVOKE, many times we immediately think of this word in the negative sense. We think about provoking someone to anger, or making someone mad or upset, we say, " gee, I don't want to provoke them!" I may make them mad at me.

Well my friend, that's what I want to do to you today, NO! I'm not going to make you mad or upset, I want to PROVOKE you to do as the scripture says, I want to encourage you to do something for someone today that will show them that you really care about them. I'm provoking you to good works!

Maybe it's a call to someone that you have not talked with in some time, or maybe sending them a card, maybe it's a visit, whatever the case, we need to provoke one another in a good way and perhaps you'll bring some unexpected joy to someone.

Hey! that's an interesting twist "UNEXPECTED JOY" ...Oh Boy! we could all use some of that!

After you have done this you may want to shoot me an email and share with me what you've done, please feel free. frank@frankmcgee.net

He deserves the PRAISE not us!

Psa 18:3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised:

Think of all of the things people praise everyday, their jobs, kids, pets, restaurants and yes! even themselves, they go about talking about how wonderful something or someone is.

We have all heard people do this, perhaps we are guilty ourselves of bragging too much, I stand with both hands raised, I admit, I have been guilty of this in the past.

When we really consider the matter, we realize we have NOTHING to brag about within ourselves, regardless of where we came from or who our parents were, what kind of status we have in our community, when you add it all up it really does not matter about US!

It does matter however about the one who deserves our PRAISE, he who is WORTHY of our praise and honor, his name is JESUS!

As people who claim to believe, let's not let a day go by that we don't recognize God for who he is and what he has done for all of us and let's be willing to praise him above all things, for he said in his Word;

John 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

Those who have studied their bibles at all understand what that scripture is referring to, but I think we can still get the message, it's really NOT about YOU & ME, it's about he who has given us a future hope of thing to come, I praise him today!! Hallelujah!!

Be Blessed!

Telling it everywhere!

Psa 79:13 So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.

When you have or know of something good you always want to share it with folks, I'm not talking about gossip, or some kind of tale baring, I'm talking about the good news of what God has done in your life.

It's exciting to watch folks being blessed of God and of course being blessed yourself, as most of you know, I've been talking about the Revival Spirit that we have had in our home Church going on now for several months, I find myself telling folks about it everywhere I go.

I'm even preaching about it in my messages, it's exciting and wonderful and I want to do my part in letting folks know that God is doing some great and wonderful things in this last hour.

Don't forget to spend some time giving thanks unto God for his goodness and then tell folks what he is doing in your life.

Praying with you in mind,

Keep the Change!

2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

This has always been one of my favorite verses in the word of God; well …they’re all my favorite!

When God changes a life it is a marvelous thing. I have watched people come from the worse kind of life styles and way of living and then God gets a hold of their hearts and turns them completely around, what a wonderful change he has made in so many lives.

If a person will just continue on living for God and NOT go back to their former lifestyles and not allow the peer pressure to keep them from moving forward, they could really be blessed and be a blessing.

So many times, after a person makes that new start they go back and dabble with the worldly things they use to do and they are once again entangled with a sinful lifestyle. They make the mistake of NOT staying around good solid Christians and staying involved with the good things of God and they are many times drawn back.

How many times, when out for a meal, my wife and I would stop at a restaurant and the waitress would do a great job of waiting on our table and making sure we had everything that we needed, so what do you want to do to reward them? You want to give them a TIP!

They bring to you your bill and you take their little black folder with your money tucked away in side and you say “ KEEP THE CHANGE! ” almost every time I do that I think of a message that I preached years ago to those that have given their lives to God “ KEEP THE CHANGE ! “ when God changes you he expects for you to continue on in that Christian walk and never look back.

There is a old song that I sing occasionally “ There’s been a change in me “ I’m not the one that I use to be, OLD things have past away since JESUS set me FREE, there’s been a change, a change in me.

One other verse says, THAT OLD MAN YOU KNEW BEFORE, HE’S GONE FOREVER MORE, HE’S COVERED BY THE BLOOD SHED ON CALVARY … if God did all of that why would you ever want to bring that old person back? My advice, get saved real good, and keep the change!

Praying with you in mind,

Evangelist: Frank Mc Gee~

That’s not just some kid, That’s God, robed in human flesh!

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

When you think of all of the children born, many times, folks just see a pretty little baby, whether it’s a boy or a girl, they’re just a bundle of joy.

Some fail to imagine what they may become in the future if given the chance, how will they influence the world and the lives of others? Will they be doctors, lawyers, how about Missionaries? Pastors, Evangelist, oh! the list could go on and on.

No doubt when Jesus was born, there were those who knew exactly who he was and then there were those that didn’t have a clue.

He was not just another child in a manger; he was the Christ Child! And he was coming to save people from their sins. He was God! Think about it, That was exciting! how many missed the moment, that would have been so special to be there and to realize just what you were looking at, that kinda gives me cold chills running up and down my back.

Well! Like the song, and I’m singing it right now in my mind “ I’m glad I know who Jesus is” … I’m glad I know who Jesus is, he’s more than just a story, he is the King of Glory, I’m glad I know who Jesus is.

I’ve often said, you may meet me and forget who I am, or perhaps you may forget my name, but friend, make it a point to meet Jesus and never forget who he is.

I close with this, you will meet him one way or the other, you’ll meet him as your saviour or you will meet him as your Judge. Once again, I’m glad I know who Jesus is!

Are you Prepared?

Greetings to all of my faithful viewers of "Words To Live By".

I wanted to share these verses with you today, they are of course some of my favorite within the Word of God and they are so relevant for the day in which we live.

I'm sure you realize that there is a battle going on and we must be equipped for whatever the enemy tries to bring against us and this my friend will help you to be prepared for those things that may come.

Stay close to God! Watch and Pray and be mindful of the attacks of the enemy, you can and will be victorious if you just stay ready. Don't be caught off guard, be vigilant as the word says.

Praying with you in mind,

Evangelist: Frank Mc Gee ~

Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

The Lord is my Shepherd, He's ALL I want !

Psa 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Just about anyone that knows anything about the Bible knows a little something about the 23rd. Psalm.

I remember learning to quote it when I was just a small child back in Sunday school; in fact, it was one of our memory verses that we had to learn.

Read it afresh for yourself, notice what the writer is talking about, it's beautiful, it's comforting, and it will give you hope and thoughts of peace.

People strive to get things in their lives, some have become workaholics, they will pour themselves into their work to make money to buy things, let me say there is nothing wrong with having nice things, God has sure blessed me and my family over the years with more than enough, and for this I am thankful.

When life is nothing more than an accumulation of things and not the things that will really matter in terms of eternity, I think we have missed something very important.

The old question, what can you take with you from this life as far as material things? that's right absolutely NOTHING!

But we can sure lay up treasures in heaven where nothing can corrupt or devour, that's where my mind and heart is at this stage of life. The more I can pour myself into those that I care about and those that God allows to cross my path the better I am satisfied.

I have learned some great lessons in life, some I would never trade for anything and some I wish I could do over. My prayer is that God would instill enough in me and that I will spend the rest of my life contributing to others and helping people to enjoy as much of this life as possible.

I love it when people are happy and joyful, there is so much sorrow in this life, I have certainly had my share, perhaps that's why I enjoy so well making other folks smile and bringing them hope and a little cheer.

I love God's people and I so enjoy making them happy by saying nice things, kind words go along way, try it and see if it don't affect the people around you.

I have come to the place in my life after having so many blessings and NOTHING to complain about whatsoever, because God has truly be good to me, my values have changed, the things I once cared for now mean less an less to me, but the things that bring fulfillment are the things that I am after now, like being an encourager to others.

I have started quoting the verse above to myself at times like this, " The Lord is my Shepherd he's ALL I want!... of course not to take anything away from the word of God, but I think you can understand what I mean.

Go and be contagious to someone with your spirit of joy, help someone this day and impart a little peace in their heart by offering some kind words, see if they don't appreciate it and you'll feel better too.

Praying with you in mind,

Evangelist: Frank Mc Gee ~

A Brand NEW Day!

Psa 103:4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

I have a dear friend who is a very accomplished artist, world renowned in fact, many times I have heard him speak of getting out a new sheet or a new piece of canvas and starting all over to get the very thing he desired from the beginning.

God works the same way, maybe we've made some mistakes on the canvas of our lives but God will allow us to take out a brand NEW sheet and start over.

I must tell you that I get comfort from that and for this very thing I am so grateful. How many times have you just thought if I could just start over, I'd do things different, my friend start today, a new sheet nothing on it, you and I get to re-write what we want and how we want it to turn out, let's just put it all in the hands of God and let him help us.

I pray that you will grasp what I am talking about, you can start over! I have before me today a NEW Canvas, I must get busy I have a NEW day in front of me and so do you!

Peace in the midst.

Psa 89:9 Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

What a comfort to know he cares for us and no matter what we have to deal with, if we will trust him he will calm our storms.

Be of good courage today my friend, I am trusting God with you and he will make a way for those who put their confidence in him.

Let's get to Church!

Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

I trust that you were in good services yesterday, we were preaching up in Kentucky over the weekend and had a marvelous time.

We were back at the same Church we were at a week ago and what a wonderful time we had with these folks, they love the word of God.

Last night we were back at our home Church "The House Was Pack & Jammed" Standing Room Only, we had a visiting Preacher with us and he is a very accomplished Key Board Player and he rocked the house for Jesus!

Then he rocked the house again as he Preached to us a message that was absolutely OUTSTANDING, we have been in a high gear revival spirit for the last 4 months and we have lots of young people coming in and getting set free, saved & filled with the Holy Ghost! Don't be a fool!

Pro 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Today God is wanting to help us with all of our battles and our situations that we are involved in, sometimes we don't even know what to do, but we trust his direction.

Having this trust and reverence toward him is as his word describes, knowledge: but he also says, there are those that become fools because they despise wisdom and instruction.

These are people that are going to do their own thing regardless, they won't take the instruction of his word. I have known lots of these types of people and they have more chaos in their lives than one can even imagine.

What a comfort to those that have difficulty, but in the midst of your situation you still have a peace that God is directing you and leading you through whatever it may be and you have the assurance that everything is going to be alright, now that's the place I like!

The Word of God is Powerful!

1Co 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Friend! there is NOTHING like the Word of God being Preached and his Power through his Word effecting your heart and life.

You need a Preacher! to some as the scripture says it is but foolishness, but to those that love the Word it is Power!

If you love the Word of God, then make sure you are hearing it preached without being watered down, soft soaked, or un-cut.

Some use the old spiritual pen knife and they cut things out and say things like we don't need that anymore, or they say God doesn't require that any longer.

God is a God that never changes, what he said, is what he meant! and that my friend is without controversy.

I pray that you have a great week end and that you receive and hear the powerful Word of God.

Bind us together!

Isa 50:8 He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.

What a blessing when you have someone that will STAND with you in times of difficulty.

As children of God we need to bind together and encourage one another, we our in the battle for our lives ( Spiritual Lives ). Find someone that you can agree with and get victory over whatever might be coming against you, whether it be your mind, body, family or whatever it is.

Remember! there is strength in number.

Built on a ROCK!

Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

What a verse with such spoken authority! Do you feel as though that even the gates of hell are warring against you?

Well my friend, GOOD NEWS! According to the Word of God they shall NOT prevail.

One would simply have to understand that the Church is NOT the building but those that believe, and we must have his word on the inside of us, not just any word, but his word!

God will always protect his Church, no matter how the enemy comes against us, God will help us, lead and guide us through all things, if we just give ourselves to him.

Think of this, just the other day God was dealing with me and he dropped this thought in my mind.

We would all agree that there are (two) spirits in this world that we have to deal with and they are the spirits of good and evil, …are you ready? …whatever we try to hold back from God that is the part the enemy gets. If we give our all to God then there is nothing for the enemy to get, OH! He will buffet us, but really that’s about it!

It’s when people hold back on God that the enemy will begin to scavenge through the left over’s and begin to wreak havoc in our lives. BUT! If we give it ALL to God there will be nothing for the enemy to get, unless we fall prey to holding out on God and lose to the devil.

Let’s show the enemy that we will not relent, we will move in a forward direction.

Having the favor of God!

Psa 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

What a wonderful thing to realize, as long as we are doing what God desires for us to do he will always bless us with his favor.

I don't know about you but I am in need of the favor of God and I seek daily to do his will and want to be pleasing to him in every way that I can.

We deal with so many things in our lives today, the enemy tries his best to attack us from every angle to defeat us, but I know that we can be mighty in God to the pulling down of the strong holds according to the word of God...

2Co 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Stay close to God my Friend and do his will regardless of the opposition, you will be victorious.

Show me the way Lord!

Psa 25:4 Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

I have always been the kind of person if you show me, I can do it! I learn fast and I like getting things done right the first time if possible.

My prayer is that God will continue to show unto me his paths that I might walk and follow him. Another verse says, In all thy ways acknowledge him, that is the desire of my heart, I want God to be please with everything that I do in my life.

I have put my trust and confidence in him and I know that he is ever before me leading me and guiding me and he will do the very same for you as you TRUST him.

I pray that this is a Special day for you my friend, and no matter what you are going through, you can and will be victorious, just know that someone is praying with you and wanting the very best for you.

Be blessed in many ways as you follow Jesus!

Revival in Mayfield Kentucky!

Sister Mc Gee and I were in Mayfield Kentucky this past weekend preaching a Revival, let me tell you we had a glorious time. This was our first time ever being at this particular Church and what a beautiful time we had while we were there.

From the moment we arrived we never felt as though we didn’t fit, we were greeted with such kindness by so many of the Church members and we felt as though we had known these folks for a long long time.

Our services were Friday night, Saturday night & Sunday, we sang, we preached we prayed, we even cried and the blessings of our Great God just ministered the entire weekend while we were there. Our Theme was, “Binding Us Together for the Battle”.

The Dear Pastor Bro. Oliver & his lovely wife were so gracious to us and their hospitality was overwhelming. Sister Mc Gee and I have without a doubt made some new friends and we so look forward to the future fellowship that I know we will enjoy.

Sunday we had a dynamic service and God poured out his spirit in a marvelous way, folks just lingered even after the service was over, nobody wanted to go home, there was a feeling in the atmosphere that we wanted to just start all over again.

After a wonderful lunch in Paducah Kentucky the Pastor and his wife took Sister Mc Gee and I over to the WALL at the River Walk where we saw for the first time a wall that has been used for a dam protecting the city from flooding, on this wall was painted mural after mural by different artist telling the story of days gone by of the past flooding that the city of Paducah had suffered prior to the wall being built many years ago.

Each mural telling a story of it’s own, there was even one about how the city derived it’s name from and old Indian Chief “Chief Paduke”, as well as many other murals which gave you the history behind the city.

We enjoyed our visit at the Mayfield Kentucky Apostolic Church and will never forget the kindness of these precious people that simply love God and his word and are not ashamed to declare what they believe.

Thank you for your hospitality, you are so very much appreciated!

May God Richly bless you all again and again!

We love and appreciate you,

Your Tennessee Evangelist: Bro. Mc Gee …and for Sis. Mc Gee too!

Give Me That Mountain!

Joshua 14:12 Now therefore give me this mountain, ...

Just as Joshua spoke, he knew that he was able to overtake the challenge set before him and was willing to contend with the battle in order to be victorious, so must we as Christians stay on course and never give up.

We are in that day when the enemy tries his best to discourage us that we will never make it and we won't IF we quit now! I like being on the winning side and I'm sure you do likewise.

The Battle is ON!

Joel 2:7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

We have all heard the statement "I'm climbin' the walls", I say to you my friend, in the midst of the battle we must continue to climb the wall, the enemy tries his best to keep us out of the place of blessings but we must forge ahead like soldiers of war.

The Word talks about not breaking rank, we must stay the course, there is NO place to quit or even give in, God is on our side and we are well able to stand in the battle and never fall to the adversary.

If it's true as the BIBLE says! and we know it is, we are MORE than conquerors, then this means the enemy is MORE than beat!

Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Words to light the way.

Psa 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

What a blessing to have the Word of God to direct us in all areas of our lives, without it we stumble and fall and run into all kinds of difficulty.

We realize that just because we read the Word of God doesn't mean we will not have difficulties, but we have one to lead us and guide us, just like being in a strange place and having a tour guide, one that knows the way, the terrain, the obstacles that may lay ahead of us.

I am so thankful for the guidance that God gives to me and to those that will just seek after him, let the Word light your path as you travel through life.

Made by the Master!

Psa 100:3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

What a wonderful thought of knowing that we were made by the Master and that he is able to take care of us, we were made in his likeness.

Waiting on God is not always easy!

Psa 27:14

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

This is not always easy, but it is always right!

We as humans always want things now, we don't want to wait, we get ourselves in a hurry, trust me, I know what I'm talking about.

I am learning to daily trust God more and more, to simply wait on his leading, like the old song, Where he leads me I will follow. We must know that God has great intentions for those that will trust him and wait upon him.

Several months ago I was preaching on this very same subject " Waiting on the Lord". Waiting on him does not just mean sitting around doing NOTHING! we must be about the Father's Business, what does a waitress do in a restaurant? she waits on the tables, this means she stays busy getting things for people.

God's timing is so precise, we will be so much better served if we just trust him and wait on what he wants to do when he wants to do it.

I'm excited to see just what he will do next IF we just wait on him.

Evangelist: Frank Mc Gee ~

OH! What a friend.

What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.

Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged; take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness; take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden, cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge, take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do your friends despise, forsake you? Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In His arms He’ll take and shield you; you will find a solace there.

Blessed Savior, Thou hast promised Thou wilt all our burdens bear
May we ever, Lord, be bringing all to Thee in earnest prayer.
Soon in glory bright unclouded there will be no need for prayer
Rapture, praise and endless worship will be our sweet portion there.

Praying with you in mind,

Evangelist: Frank Mc Gee~

We're getting closer!

Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Do you believe that we are living in the last days according to the word of God?

Are you tapping in to all of the blessings that God has for you, as we enter in to all that he is preparing for us as we make our exit from this life as we know it, into that eternal place of joy, peace and rest from all that we deal with here in this old world?

If you are not getting your share, it's time you get involved with what God desires for your life.

Don't just go through some motion and try to make it feel right or good, God has a definite plan for our lives as we trust him and live for him according to his word.

You can't live off of someone else's experience, like your grandparents or even your parents for that matter, you need an experience of your own and God has one for you.

Get involved with his word and ask him to open up his TRUTH to you. Remember! it's not enough just to be religious! Religious folks are dying every day and they are on their way to a devils hell, but God has a purpose and a revelation for those that will seek him.

Get what God has for you today my friend and get into his WORD!

Evangelist: Frank Mc Gee ~

Luck or Blessings, it's your choice!

Do you live by LUCK or do you live by the BLESSINGS of God?

As a Christian it always amazes me as to how so many people that call themselves Christians talk about how lucky they are and very seldom refer to how BLESSED they are.

I would shiver to think that I had to walk through this life by luck, you see, luck comes with very high odds, but the blessings of God are guaranteed IF you live according to his word.

The power of life and death is in the tongue, be mindful of what you speak and how you speak, you may get it!

Happiness or JOY which do you prefer?

Neh 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

I am persuaded that there is a vast difference in being happy and being full of Joy.

Happiness comes to us many times in spurts, something funny that we hear, maybe a child doing something cute, maybe we get a check in the mail unexpected. But these things only make us happy temporary.

The scripture says, "the joy of the Lord is your strength". This is something that is inward, the world didn't give to you and the world can't take it away.

I am glad for the JOY that I have in my Soul, for it truly is my Strength.

Praying with you in mind,

Evangelist: Frank Mc Gee ~
